When her dog disappears into the gutter of the book, Bella calls for help. But when the helpers disappear too, Bella realizes it will take more than a tug on the leash to put things right. Cleverly using the physicality of the book, This book just ate my dog! is inventive, ingenious, and just pure kid-friendly fun!
Richard was born in London but grew up in Brighton on the English south coast. After studying graphic design in Sussex he moved to northern England where he worked for several design studios in Manchester and Leeds. In 2012 he moved back down south to Chichester with his partner and their two smallish children where he became a freelance designer and began writing and illustrating children’s books. When he is not messing about in the sea he now spends most of his time creating picture books.
