I am the award-winning author of more than 70 picture books, including “Detective Blue” (starred review from School Library Journal), “Pluto Visits Earth” (ABC Best Books for Children), and my upcoming “Yes, I Can Listen!” I live in New York City with my beautiful wife and talkative cat, Biscuit, who has been immortalized in my latest picture book, “”Princess Kitty.”” My daughter is currently attending college, where she is a Junior. One of my favorite activities is biking around Central Park, where cars are now forbidden.
Susan Szecsi is a freelance designer and illustrator with traditional fine art training. As a little girl she wanted to be an astronaut or a princess or a magician. She has fulfilled one of her dreams because she discovered that illustrating books is like doing magic every day. Susan has two sons and lives in San Francisco Bay Area with her husband.
