Picture and stories are a way to share my experiences with others.
I hope my stories feel true to young readers. My favorite reaction is laughter.
Books are my oldest best friend. They make me feel safe and comfortable and are fun to hang out with.
Have books around. Keep one in your bag and in your car. Read while snacking. Rotate them or go to the library. Give your kids all kinds of things to read, magazines, board books, comics, newspaper and see what they are interested in.
