This book's adorable illustrations and simple text provide a pretty good overview of California's various regions and give just a taste of what the state has to offer. My daughter loves being able to find where we live. It's also been helpful to use this book to trace our road trips through different parts of the state. It would be great be great preparation for a trip to California, or a great gift for a kid who already lives here!
