Bear’s friends are determined to keep Bear awake for Christmas! So they wake Bear up and have him help them find a Christmas tree, bake cakes, hang up stockings, and sing Christmas songs. Bear stays up–by discovering that giving is one of the best Christmas presents!
Bear has great friends to help him stay awake so he doesn't miss Christmas! I think the illustrations in this book are darling. The message of celebrating Christmas with friends you love was great, though not a huge storyline.
This is one of my favorite Bear books I've read thus far and a cute variation on the classic bear-tries-to-stave-off-tired-hibernation-for-fun theme, with a fun little twist at the end. Good friends and fun traditions to be had all around!
