What's This Book About

Publisher Summary

What is soft, fluffy, and white? Pablo’s wool, of course. But this little lamb soon discovers that there’s something else as well: SNOW! From making trails to sledding with friends, having snowball fights and crafting snowmen, there’s tons of fun to be had in the snow. But winter days grow dark very fast, and Pablo finds himself lost on his way home. Not to worry―Mama and Papa help Pablo get back to the cozy barn so he can talk about his adventures.

The Creatives Behind the Book

    Author
    Teri Sloat

Teri Sloat has written and/or illustrated over twenty trade books for young readers, including From One to One Hundred, I’m a Duck!, and the Farmer Brown series. Among her honors are a New York Times Best Picture Book, an ABA Pick of the List, a Junior Library Guild selection, and a Notable Science Trade Book.

    Illustrator
    Rosalinde Bonnet

As a child, Rosalinde could not decide whether she wanted to be a wildlife biologist, a writer or an illustrator. But, because she spent most of her time doodling (even all over her notebooks during class!) or creating plays and sets for her puppets, she finally decided to study art after high school. She went first to the Versailles School of Fine Arts (2 years), then to the Académie Charpentier in Paris (1 year), and lastly she joined the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (4 years). Since then, Rosalinde has written and/or illustrated numerous books like Daddy Honk Honk!, Poppy’s Best Babies, Poppy’s Best Paper, Ella and Penguin series, and Zip! Zoom! On a Broom. When she isn’t working or reading in her studio near Paris, Rosalinde likes hiking in wild places, taking photos, and making vegan pastries.
