A thoughtful picture book illustrating the power of small acts of kindness, from the award-winning author of Sophie’s Squash.
A great story with an important message. I always look forward to new titles from Pat Zietlow Miller, and I really enjoyed Jen Hill’s illustrations, too. The page showing kindness spreading around the world was particularly memorable, though I love that the kindness starts and ends with a simple act of kindness from one young student to another.
I must be in a mode of wanting my kids to be kind, to others and themselves, because this book really spoke to me. It showed such cute examples of how to be kind. There were very simple ways to be kind demonstrated in this book. It was done in ways that my boys could understand and in cute story form, not forced like some morals are in books.
