This bilingual shapes board book is a great introduction to shapes, Spanish, and Aztec art and architecture. While it's a simple book, there's a lot to talk about, so it could easily be tailored to any baby, toddler, or pre-schooler. It's also fun to notice how some words in English and Spanish look and sound very different and others look and sound almost exactly the same.

This is a fantastic dual language shapes book. The only words on each page are the names of the shape in English and Spanish. The illustrations are beautiful and creative. Each page teaches a shape on the left and then incorporates that shape into a design reminiscent of the ancient Aztec empire and the emperor Cuauhtemoc.

It was after studying architecture that she was drawn toward the enchanting world of illustration and chose to become an illustrator full-time.
