Ariana Stein, a graduate from California State University, Dominguez Hills, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Ariana spent the first 8 years of her professional career in real estate management. She is also the founder of worldwide pet transportation company, 1-800-Pet-Taxi. Ariana knew shortly after her son’s birth that she wanted him to be bilingual. “Knowing one language is like having a simple single-purpose tool, knowing two languages is like having a Swiss army knife.” Since then, she has become a proponent of bilingual education and a strong supporter in dual immersion programs.
Patty Rodriguez, unable to find bilingual first concept books she could enjoy reading to her baby, Patty came up with the idea behind Lil’ Libros. Mother of two and a community leader that enjoys empowering tomorrow’s young leaders at conferences and summits, can be seen on a Saturday morning cheering her oldest son at a soccer game. Citlali Reyes, born and raised in Mexico, loved to doodle as a child. It was after studying architecture that she was drawn toward the enchanting world of illustration and chose to become an illustrator full-time. Citlali enjoys telling stories through pictures, and her work is strongly influenced by the culture and vibrant colors of her country. She has partnered with Lil’ Libros to illustrate more than 15 popular bilingual picture books for children in their board book collection.
Ana Godinez is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she studied English Literature and Fine Arts. She lends her artistic hand as graphic designer for several companies and organizations in Los Angeles, working to create projects that include branding, websites, social media campaigns, murals, and commissioned abstract paintings. Today, Ana is the Creative Director of Akash Winery & Vineyard and Lead Designer at Lil’ Libros. Her newest and most challenging project is tackling the illustrations of Vámonos, a new travel series by Lil’ Libros that takes readers on a ride through the sights and sounds of Latin American. When Ana is not glued to her computer, she’s out looking for inspiration through traveling, walking her dog, and looking for food. You can see her latest adventures on instagram @anaeats.
