“This has a lot of layers for a book about preschoolers... and I love it! The cadence is awesome (I'm a sucker for great rhyme), which makes this a fun read-aloud, and the illustrations have lots of little things going on, leaving new things to discover on multiple read-throughs—the children's expressions are particularly interesting as you watch their different reactions to Albie's behavior. This book manages to both be one that preschoolers can relate to and one that touches on more adult themes like genius level intelligence vs social intelligence.”
