How to buy Bookroo with your Georgia Promise Scholarship

Order on the Marketplace

Log in to your Odyssey parent portal and select your student.

Open the Marketplace and search for "Bookroo." Search by name rather than browsing by grade — the Chapter Book collections suit readers from 1st grade up, but they're filed under the Grades 3-5 shelf, so browsing can hide them. All four collections appear.

Choose your collection and edition, add it to your cart, and assign each item to the right student. Every purchase draws from that child's account.

Confirm your delivery address and submit. Odyssey pays Bookroo directly — you'll get a confirmation email now and tracking when your books ship.

Before you order

Buy through the Marketplace, not our website. Georgia only funds purchases made inside it, so a collection bought on our site would be money you've spent yourself.

Odyssey pulls your delivery address from your application — to change it, contact Odyssey Support through your parent portal before ordering.

If a collection turns out to be the wrong level, email support@bookroo.com and we'll sort it out — just mention you ordered through Odyssey.

Pick by stage
Picture books for Kindergarten and 1st grade; chapter books for 1st through 5th. If your reader is between the two, size up — a slightly harder book read together does more than an easy one read alone.

Two editions each
Pastel and Rainbow are two different libraries — different titles in each, chosen the same way. A family that wants a bigger shelf can take both: forty-eight hardcovers, no repeats.

One account per reader
Promise funds are awarded per student, so a second reader is a second balance, not a second line in the same budget. In your cart, assign each collection to the right child — each purchase draws from that child's own account.
Half of what you don't spend doesn't carry over.
Georgia lets you carry up to 50% of an unused Promise balance into next year — the rest doesn't come with you. Books are the easiest thing on the Marketplace to turn a balance into: one purchase, no approval wait, nothing to renew.
