Bookroo's summary

Will eats a stinkbug to defuse tension between his friend Darryl and new kid Eloy. Dubbed Bug Boy, he turns his bug-eating into a class project with Eloy's help. But as their friendship grows, Darryl's anger intensifies. With crickets and scorpions on his plate, Will faces a bigger challenge: navigating loyalty and honor. Can he balance new friendships and old loyalties, or will he lose more than just his appetite?

From the publisher

To defuse a situation between his best friend and a new student, Nolan eats a live stink bug, gaining popularity and a class project idea but, perhaps, losing a friend.
