A day at the beach becomes a lesson in sibling bonding for Gideon in this magical picture book. Every summer, Gideon and his younger sister Audrey build a sand castle—together. He is also a character designer who has worked in both animation and publishing at Macmillan, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, Workman Publishing, and Nicktoons. Tom made his earliest marks—sometimes on his parents’ antique kitchen table— growing up in Pennsylvania.
