When a wild Canada goose is injured and put into Gita’s yard, she discovers a kindred spirit, begins to find the answers to her many queries, and gathers the courage to follow her new friend’s quest. The book is written as a coming of age adventure for children.
Gailyn Porter is an artist, a graphic designer, a puppet maker, a costume designer, and a writer. She has an M.A. Degree from SUNY Oswego in Graphic Design and an M.A. from the Waldorf Institute of Adelphi Uni- versity in Childhood Education and Special Education at The College of St. Rose. Currently, she lives in California with her husband and works with both fabrics and computer programs to create ne art.
