“The illustrations are so great—truly stunning and so full of emotion. This one definitely tugs at the heartstrings with the suggestion of a little boy going back and forth between his divorced parent's homes (although this is never explicitly stated) and his feelings of being second to the parrot (however untrue that may be).”
