Bookroo's summary

In a garden where every plant is planned, an uninvited sunflower stirs conflict. Mr. Gardener sees it as a weed, but Mrs. Gardener cherishes its unexpected beauty. When Mr. Gardener removes it, he realizes the depth of his wife's affection for the sunflower. Driven by love, he replants its seeds, nurturing them with care. As the sunflower blooms again, the garden becomes a testament to the power of embracing the unplanned. Will this act of compassion transform their understanding of love and acceptance? Discover how one sunflower changes everything.

From the publisher

This is a story about a sunflower that blows into a perennial garden. This sunflower is considered a weed by Mr. Gardener since he did not plan or plant it. But Mrs. Gardener fell in love with this sunflower. Mr. Gardener not knowing how loved the sunflower is and considering it a weed, pulls it out. He sees how upset Mrs. Gardener is so takes the seeds from the sunflower and plants them in his perennial garden and also adds a water drip line for it. He fertilizes and cares for it. The sunflower grows back the next summer and is welcomed. The story says that welcoming not planned into the garden expands the amount of love and doesn’t reduce the love of those already there.
