“I have a three-year-old who loves the aquarium and adores every animal there, so I expected that this book would be a hit with her. She loved the illustrations and enjoyed pointing out the octopuses, fish, and other animals on each page. However, the actual story was just too wordy for her, and wasn't engaging enough to keep her attention all the way through. I found myself summarizing each page rather than reading it, and she was still lost by the end. Maybe we could try it again in a year or two and see how it goes. I can see how someone would enjoy this book, but it just wasn't a good fit for us right now.”
