Little Red Chicken wants Papa to read her a bedtime story, but interrupts him almost as soon as he begins each tale.
What does it mean to interrupt? Do you think there is ever a good time to interrupt someone?
Do your parents tell you bedtime stories? What is your favorite one?
Have you ever told someone else a bedtime story? What would your bedtime story be about?
As you may have guessed from the title, one of these chickens has a problem with not interjecting in the middle of the story and it’s not the dad. The book is comical but also has some negative behaviors I didn’t appreciate, including the little chicken promising multiple times not to interrupt and the father rewarding the poor behavior.
