“I was really liking this until the *SPOILER ALERT* giant snake with fangs tries to eat him (acting as a catalyst for Tad to appreciate his legs). It felt like it missed the chance to protect his siblings and somehow felt simultaneously too scary for the what the book was an anti-climatic.”
