If you like Mary Engelbreit’s art, then you’ll enjoy seeing it in this book. However, I find that I just don’t love reading it to my daughter. The classic stories are written in a way that makes them all just kind of mediocre, and I get sick of the style if I read it too much.
<p>Mary Engelbreit grew up studying the illustrations in the vintage storybooks of her mother’s own childhood, and she developed a unique style that harkens back to those simpler times.
