Josefina is a girl of heart and hope growing up in New Mexico in 1824 – a place of big skies and hard work, danger and dreams. Josefina’s stories tell how she and her family watch their old ways cross paths with the new as americano traders arrive from the East with new goods and ideas. Josefina is lucky to have her family and faith to help guide her through all the changes in her life!Josefina and her sisters are struggling after Mama’s death.
