In this fun version of the lift-the-flap format, clever die-cuts offer hints of what lies beneath each flap. Children will delight in counting four cute hats and then lifting the flap to discover that the hats are perched on the heads of four funny clowns. With a palette that will catch the eye of hip, modern parents, this bright and cheery board book introduces toddlers to numbers in a fresh new way.
My boys love lift-the-flap books! This is especially unique in the way it uses the flaps to show each number and help a child with counting. It has a picture of something on top of the flap, and underneath it has a corresponding picture with the same number of items to count. I think it is a fun way to make connections and learn about the world.
I love this counting, lift-the-flap book! The illustrations under the flaps are so cute, and I it's especially fun that the die-cuts show a portion of the picture, then when you life the flap, it shows the bigger picture. Very creative and a very fun way to read and learn about counting. :)
