“This installment of the Pete the Cat series brings us Pete's day in his new white shoes, which (spoiler alert) don't stay white for long. The illustrations are colorful and cheery, and the simple story has a nice repetition to it that makes it easy for toddlers to enjoy. To complete the package, there's a great, subtle message about enjoying whatever life brings.”
