“This is a very clever spin on Red Riding Hood, but the written dialect is a bit of a mouthful and quite taxing to read aloud, and makes this one I woudn't love to revisit frequently. The illustrations are incredible, however, and the grandmother hiding in the closet (rather than getting eaten) is a nice aspect of the story for sensitive readers.”
