What happens when best friends Q and U quarrel?It’s a real quandary, since they have always been quality friends–a true squad. But sometimes, U wants some time to herself–eventhough Q is lonely because he doesn’t always fit in with the other letterswithout her. When the rest of the alphabet notices the split, they decide theywant to do the same. And utter chaos ensues! Can Q and U come together to quell the mayhem and help the letters repair theirfriendships?
Stef Wade used to write about cardboard boxes, but thinks writing books is far more exciting. She was the co-creator and writer for the former cooking and home blog Haute Apple Pie. Stef holds a BA in advertising from Marquette University and an MBA in Integrated Marketing Communication from DePaul University. Stef is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She currently resides in the greater Milwaukee area with her husband and three boys.
Jorge Martin grew up drawing compulsively on any surface available to him. Since then, he has done many different things in his life, including cycling to Mongolia, studying at London’s Central Saint Martins and Kingston University, and working in innovation and advertising. He made his picture book debut with I’m Hungry, which is about a newly-hatched dragon who goes on a hunger rampage. He is also the illustrator of A Cat Is Better by Linda Joy Singleton and Fairy Tale Pets by Lacey Corderoy. Originally from Spain, he has lived in San Francisco, Mexico City, Hamburg, and London.
