Jane Goodall is an anthropologist and UN Messenger of Peace. Born in London, she studied at Cambridge University and is the winner of many academic awards. Passionate about animals and Africa she is widely known for her studies of chimpanzees, for conservation and for animal welfare. Her books with minedition include The Chimpanzees of Gombe, Doctor White, The Eagle and the Wren, A Prayer for World Peace and With Love. Alan Marks studied graphic design at the Bath Academy of Art in England and was awarded Best Artist at Medway College of Art and Design. He worked for magazines and newspapers before finding his true calling as a picture book artist. His illustrations grace many books include several minedition titles by Jane Goodall.
Alan Marks has been fascinated by space since watching the Apollo moon missions as a child.
