Sheena Roberts is a writer, compiler, publisher and editor of children’s music. She loves traditional songs and these serve as her inspiration when writing new songs for children. She especially likes creating songs which children can make their own by adding or changing words. Sheena lives in London, England with her two children, one cat and several frogs.

Award-winning author Stella Blackstone has written many of Barefoot’s best-selling titles, including the Bear series and the Cleo the Cat series. She has been writing for children for over twenty years. Stella lives in Somerset, UK.

Skye Silver is an author and editor of books for young people. She has also written Dump Truck Disco and Baby Play for Barefoot Books. Skye lives in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, with her family, where the best part of her busy day is reading with her young son.

John Foster was a teacher for 20 years before becoming a full-time writer. He is the author of twelve books of poetry and over 150 anthologies. He has performed at all the UK’s national book festivals and visits schools and libraries regularly. His books include The Poetry Chest, The Oxford First Book of Poetry, Dinosaur Poems, Dragon Poems and Magic Poems. He lives in Oxfordshire.

Celeste Cortright grew up in Connecticut, USA, and now works as a design director when she’s not writing children’s books for Barefoot! She and her partner live in Boston, Massachusetts, USA with their cat.

After leaving school, Siobhan Bell traveled for many years and had a variety of jobs from making clothes and jewelry to fire breathing! She now works as a full-time textile artist, selling her artwork through galleries, exhibitions and private commissions. Siobhan creates her trademark bright colors using scraps of hand-dyed cotton sheets, which she imprints with patterns using a variety of objects such as combs, potatoes and pieces of Lego! Siobhan lives in her native Somerset, England, with her four-year-old son.
