How to Read the House of Night Books

Read the twelve main novels in numbered order, from Marked through Redeemed. Each book continues Zoey's relationships, conflicts, and supernatural struggle from the previous installment.

The four House of Night novellas—Dragon's Oath, Lenobia's Vow, Neferet's Curse, and Kalona's Fall—add character backstories but are not required to follow the main plot. They work best in publication order alongside the later novels or after finishing the main series.
