Sean Callahan has written five books for children. He works a day job as a business reporter. He also was the founding editor of Masters Athlete magazine. Before that he was a newspaper reporter in Chicago and Steamboat Springs, CO. His freelance journalism has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Salon.com and Notre Dame Magazine. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters.
Kathleen Kemly’s research for Molly, By Golly included a trip to the New York City Fire Museum. While in New York she was able to imagine Molly’s life there and what the city was like many years ago.
