Old Mother Rabbit lived in a shoe. She had twenty-six children and knew what to do. From Abel, who sleeps on a table, to Zed who sleeps on the shed, help Mother Rabbit tuck a whole alphabet of adorable little bunnies in for the night.
This book goes through the ABC’s and counts how many letters (and bunnies!) there are, too! The illustrations are sweet and warm, but overall the book was just too long for me to like. It rhymes, but some of it seems like a stretch to think of things that rhyme or are the right letter.
I totally have nostalgia for this book from reading it as a child. Some of the names and places are a little funny, but overall, a sweet book of sleeping bunnies!

Rick Walton is the author of a lot of books for kids. He has written books about bunnies, bears, pigs, dogs, dinosaurs, bullfrogs, sheep, foxes, cows, cats, alligators, mice, and rats. But this is his first book about a gorilla. He lives in Provo, Utah, with whatever people and animals happen to be visiting at the moment. Girl & Gorilla is based on his life. He is Gorilla.
