This book has beautiful pictures--the illustrations are intricate and gorgeous--and a beautiful message--a parent's love for their child. It would be a sweet, calm bedtime book or a great gift for new parents. However, the language was too flowery for my taste, and there wasn't enough substance to it to keep my kids entertained for very long.

6.0

This beautiful book is a love song from a mother to a child. With its lyrical, rhyming text to its richly-imagined and drawn illustrations, there is much to appreciate and enjoy in this story. In equal parts, it is the composite of a mother's dreams for her child and her encouragement for that child to follow his dreams, wherever they may lead with the assurance that mother will always be there to love, support and encourage.
