The title is aptly given as this book feels like an adventure. On one page you are in the Sahara, rubbing a lamp to fleeing from a wicked genie, and the next page you are careening down a waterfall with your pirate friends. The illustrations are playful and well-done. There are three monsters in this book: a yeti, a sea monster, and a wicked genie—which do make it a bit scarier than necessary.
