“I was really excited to read this book based on the gorgeous cover illustration but found that the cover of this book somewhat overpromised and the underdelivered. While the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous (truly!) the story was quite slow and lacking and much more philosophical than one might hope for a young audience and an adventurous cover.”
