When Tessy meets Newton the chameleon she wants to be friends, but she only wants to do kid things, like ride bikes and eat cookies. Sheri Mabry has written books for adults and children, and her work has appeared in numerous magazines. She is the founder of North Shore Academy of the Arts, a non-profit organization that offers arts programming to the community. She lives in Wisconsin.
Joanie Stone was born and raised in Virginia, where she still lives today with her husband and young daughter. She is inspired by nature, all things vintage and the real-life characters she sees around her everyday. She hopes her illustrations will inspire kids to pick up a pencil and create their own worlds through stories and art.
