Bookroo's summary

As winter approaches, Bear senses the chill and knows it's time to hibernate. But before she can sleep, she must inform Snail, who tells Skunk, who tells Turtle. Each animal, reluctant to settle down, experiences the signs of the coming season in their own way. Finally, Ladybug rushes to share the news with Bear, only to find her already asleep. Will the forest creatures ever embrace their winter rest? Join this charming journey through the forest as each animal finds a way to delay bedtime just a little longer.

I felt like both the story and the illustrations were both a little lackluster, but if you're looking to help kiddos learn more about hibernation I like that this book shows lots of different animals that hibernate (snails, woodchucks, etc.)... not just bears!
