They must conquer longhorns and cowboys and bears and much more on their brave quest to reach the Palace and pull the glorious Sooner Schooner. The purpose is to connect to young Oklahoma Sooner fans through this triumphant journey. This book incorporates already established OU catch phrases, famous coaches, and Sooner landmarks. The ponies also have to conquer Sooner arch rivals along the way to achieve their goal. The moral of the story is to dare to dream of greatness. History rewards the daring.
