“I'm not the biggest fan of pet books in general, but this one takes a fresh spin on it. The main character finds (and immediately loves) a dog wearing shoes--which means it must be a dog that someone else loved first. The story was upbeat, thoughtful, and interesting. I particularly enjoyed the illustrations--black and white, with only select pops of color.”
