I love the illustrations and overall design of this book--that's what drew me to it on the shelf. The poems are interesting and would be a fun way to highlight seasons and changes throughout the year with preschoolers and young children. I'm not convinced that we would actually read it all the way through very often, but it could be fun to pull down once a month.

Joseph Coelho is a performance poet and playwright. He lives in London. Allison Colpoys is a designer and the illustrator of many books for children, including Abrams’ Captain Starfish. She lives in Melbourne, Australia.
