“The illustration technique--they call it "scanimation"--used in this book is pretty fun and novel, but surprisingly hard for my little ones to actually enjoy. I find that it's hard for both of them (I have two daughters) to sit at angles that allow them to really see the animals, which is frustrating. It's easier for them to enjoy solo--they do love to bend the pages back and forth, trying to make the animals move.”
