I like that this book talks about shyness and making friends, and it goes through a few different animals throughout the story. Overall, the storyline just was ok to me.
The Bear books are quite popular, and even though both the rhyme scheme and illustrations are great, the combination of it feeling way too long for a board book and the huge amount of repetition make this one is just a little painful for me to read out loud.
