Count and share with…underwear! Come along on a zany adventure with hilarious pictures from the New York Times bestselling illustrator of Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site. What’s one thing that two bears, three yaks, four goats, and six cats have in common? They hate to share. But look out—here comes a pack of twenty pigs ready to prove that sharing makes everything twice as fun!
I liked that in this book, rather than counting straight from one to ten, kids get to wander around the numbers a little bit, making it good for ever-so-slightly more advanced counting practice. However, I didn't like the nonsensical storyline, potty humor, or bad examples of behavior that went unaddressed. It's a hard pass for me.
Hi! I’m Laura Gehl. I spent many happy hours reading books as a kid, and now I get to spend many happy hours…and many frustrated, banging-my-head-against-the-wall hours…writing books for kids. Pretty much the best job ever. Except for the banging-my-head-against-the-wall part. These days, I also get to spend many happy hours reading books to my own four kids. Which is only fair, since I get most of my ideas from them! (Bio via lauragehl.com)
I make books for kids and people who used to be kids. My favorite activity is drawing (surprise!), my favorite food is chocolate, and my favorite sport is ping-pong. When I’m not making books, I like to get other peoples’ kids all wound up, then send them home to their parents.
