In Castle of Books, two children go on a creative journey to discover the answer to the question “Why do we need books?” As they pore over piles and piles of books and discover the incredible worlds and words within, they find lots of answers to this question: to observe, to discover, to imagine, to understand each other, and so much more.
Alessandro Sanna (b. 1975) is a prolific, award-winning Italian author and illustrator. His work has been exhibited around the globe and appeared in many major publications, including the New York Times Book Reviewand The New Yorker, and his books have been translated into numerous languages. He teaches illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and lives in Mantua, Italy.
