In this modern-day fable, Wanda calls her brother and sister “fans,” keeps up with celebrity news, and never misses a chance to share a selfie. She’s ready to show the world how Wanda-ful she really is, but all people are interested in is . . . her dog! Superstar cartoonists Eleanor Davis and Drew Weing will have young readers in stitches with this hilarious tale of fame and fandom where friendship and family triumph.
Eleanor Davis grew up in Tucson, Arizona. Instead of going out in the hot sun to play and make friends, she stayed alone in her room, drawing. She started working on Stinky, her first published children’s book, while still a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Now, only 25 years old, she’s widely praised as one of the coolest artists on the new comics scene. She lives in Athens, Georgia, with her boyfriend (who is also a cartoonist) and three cats (who are not).
Drew Weing is the cartoonist behind the Creepy Case Files of Margo Maloo graphic novel series. He lives in Athens, Georgia, with his wife, cartoonist Eleanor Davis, and too many cats. He makes comics for print and online, among which are the nautical graphic novel Set to Sea, and the early-reader comic Flop to the Top, which he co-authored with his wife.
