In this wordless book with interactive flaps, a friendship develops between a girl named Flora and a graceful flamingo, as they learn to dance together.
Completely wordless, Flora and the Flamingo is silly, inventive, and fun. My toddler loves the idea of imitating animals with her body through dance, and likes trying to copy Flora's poses on each page. The illustrations and the cover are a delight; it's a book so cute I'd happily use it as decor in a child's bedroom or playroom. I love books like this that inspire me (along with my kids) to look at the world in a more creative light.
