Award-wining author Lisa McCourt has written over thirty books for children, including the Stinky Face books. She lives with her family in Boca Raton, Florida.

Eve Bunting has written more than two hundred books for young readers, including Pirate Boy (Holiday House), The Wedding, and Smoky Night (HMH Books for Young Readers), the winner of the 1995 Caldecott Medal. She lives in southern California.

Caroline Jayne Church’s picture books have been published in eight languages. Her illustrations can be found in advertising, paper products, packaging, character creation, and card design. She lives in Farnham, Surrey, England.

Melissa Sweet has illustrated more than eighty children’s books, including the Caldecott Honor books The Right Word and A River of Words: The Story of William Carlos Williams both written by Jen Bryant. She also wrote and illustrated Tupelo Rides the Rails; Carmine: A Little More Red, which was a New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Book; and Balloons Over Broadway, a picture book biography that was named a 2011 Publishers Weekly Best Nonfiction Picture Book. When she is not in her studio, Melissa can be found taking an art class, hiking with her dogs, or riding her bicycle. She lives with her family in Rockport, Maine.

As a child, John Segal absolutely hated taking a bath. Now all grown up, John lives in New York City with his family. John is also the author-illustrator of Carrot Soup, Lonely Moose, and Far Far Away.
