New York Times #1 Bestseller! I’ve Loved You Since Forever is a celebratory and poetic testament to the timeless love felt between parent and child. This beautiful picture book is inspired by Today show co-anchor Hoda Kotb’s heartwarming adoption of her baby girl, Haley Joy. With Kotb’s lyrical text and stunning pictures by Suzie Mason, young ones and parents will want to snuggle up and read the pages of this book together, over and over again. “In the universe, there was you and there was me, waiting for the day our stars would meet. . .”
While the text and rhymes are simple and fairly predictable, the ending is beautiful and touching. Bright, full page illustrations bring substance to the limited text. This would be an especially appropriate book to give as a gift upon the birth of a new baby.
This has cute illustrations, my favorite part of the book. The story is simple with not a lot of words.
Hoda Kotb is the Daytime Emmy Award, Edward R. Murrow Award, and duPont-Columbia Award-winning Today show co-anchor and Dateline NBC correspondent. Hoda is the author of two adult New York Times bestselling books, including Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee. Of all her accomplishments, her proudest moment is the adoption of a baby girl, Haley Joy, in February 2017. She lives in New York City with her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman.
Suzie Mason is the #1 New York Times bestselling illustrator of I’ve Loved You Since Forever, written by Hoda Kotb. Suzie adores creating bold and endearing art for children’s books and greeting cards. She lives in a tiny village in England with her husband and their cat.
