So much to see! My preschooler and toddler love this book. There's lots to look at on each layer, and lots to learn (but it's easy to shorten what I read to match their attention spans, too). It's fun to do the seek-and-find challenge on each layer, and they really like to review the animals and plants on the last page. This book is sturdy, interesting, well-illustrated, and perfect for little sea explorers!

Timothy Knapman has written lots of picture books, including Soon, illustrated by Patrick Benson. He writes both fiction and nonfiction, and his books have been translated into fifteen languages. In his spare time, he writes plays and musicals, because he believes that onstage, as between the covers of a book, the real and the fantastical can collide, and that is where all great storytelling comes from. Timothy Knapman lives in England.
Wesley Robins is a freelance illustrator and designer from London. He graduated from Kingston University, and his first graphic novel, Ascent, was published in 2011 by Jonathan Cape.
