This book is packed full of great vocabulary and cute, simple illustrations, and (slightly long) text to make a little one feel more comfortable about going to the doctor. It talks about some pretty advanced things/vocab, but does a decent job of explaining them for little minds. It does talk about how you might get a vaccine at the doctor's appointment, so if you're not one to vaccinate this book isn't for you.

Cara Florance has a PhD in Biochemsitry from the University of Colorado Boulder and BS in Chemistry from Iona College. She enjoys cooking, fermenting, and experimenting in the kitchen, and she loves hanging out with her awesome, creative kids.
Jon Florance served in the US Army Infantry and Special Forces before choosing to pursue his MD at Harvard Medical School. While also enjoying forestry and science fiction, his happiest moments are as a father of his beautiful young children.
