

A silly animal tale that teaches children how rewarding it is to learn to readKing Lion has lost his voice and can’t read the bedtime story! Luckily, Preposterous Rhinoceros wants to do it . . . but how do you read a book? He asks all of his friends for tips but completely misinterprets what they mean. This leads to a series of laugh-out-loud moments for the reader. Finally, Shy Salamander gets Preposterous Rhinoceros’sattention and tells him that to read, you need to be taught! So Salamander teaches Rhinoceros, who eventually is able to read everyone the story.
Marta Costa was born in Barcelona and studied graphic design in the ELISAVA School of Barcelona. In 2005, she started her own company for design, serigraphy, and the commercialization of T-shirts and other products for children. Since 2007, she has worked as a freelance illustrator, working mostly for publishing companies in Spain. Most recently, she has illustrated Noah’s Ark for Penguin Young Readers.
