Stephen Krensky is the author of more than one hundred books for children. He and his wife, Joan, live in Lexington, Massachusetts, where they celebrate a great many holidays.Pascal Campion is a French American illustrator and animator. He lives with his family in San Francisco, California.

Patricia Lakin, a former elementary school teacher and an award-winning author, has written more than fifty published works. Her books, both fiction and nonfiction, span multiple age groups–from toddlers to middle graders. Patricia lives in New York City with her husband, Lee Koenigsberg. They have two grown sons.

Jody Jensen Shaffer is an award-winning poet and the author of more than 30 books of fiction and nonfiction for children, including THE WAY THE COOKIE CRUMBLED, A CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK, IT’S YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, BUSY BUS! and PRUDENCE THE PART-TIME COW, Missouri’s pick for the National Book Festival in Washington D.C. Jody’s poetry has been published in magazines like Highlights, Ladybug, and Clubhouse Jr. Jody lives with her husband and kids in Liberty, Missouri, and is a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Chloe Perkins is the editor and author of a few dozen books for children. She lives in New York City, with her husband, Rico, and their corgi puppy/sometimes shark, Marius. Growing up in a small town in Ohio, Chloe always dreamed of writing stories that could take kids on their own reading adventures, and she’s thrilled to be doing just that!

Rob McClurkan had a high school science teacher who brought a flying squirrel to class. One day, the squirrel made his way to Rob’s jacket pocket, where he left a tiny gift. This kind of mischief is what makes Squirrel the perfect character for Rob’s first picture book. Rob lives with his wife and kids just outside Atlanta, Georgia, where a nutty squirrel sighting is a daily occurrence.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kelly Kennedy got his start in the animation business doing designs and storyboards at Nickelodeon and even created and directed an award-winning short, The Baseball Card Shop, while there. Since then he’s drawn and illustrated for a variety of children’s books and magazines and is currently working on some of his own stories. When not drawing he can be found working on his old cars or playing guitar in a bluegrass band.
